Dates: November 1-3, 2024
Friday 4pm- Sunday 1pm + Optional Hike
We are going south to stay in Logan (15 mins away from The Mohican State Park). From Cleveland the drive time is 1 hour 20 minutes. Check in time is 4pm on Friday, retreat programing will begin at 5pm. Check out time on Sunday is 1pm, followed by an optional hike. This beautiful home features a great room with views of the hillside for us to practice in, a gorgeous table for us to share meals over, three full baths (+ one half), a hot tub and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. This retreat will be similar in structure to the last one, with a variety of yoga and meditation, a yoga Nidra practice, a sound bath, community building, delicious home-cooked vegetarian food by Chef Kevin (vegan and gf options available), and hiking in the Mohican Wilderness. This is a co-ed, intimate retreat with limited spots available. The accommodations will be cozy, (most of) the rooms are shared spaces including: the Master Suite, the Family Camp Room, The Loft, and The Basement Bunk Room. There are a variety of beds, from kings to queens, to sleep-sofas to twin bunks. The beds are priced differently according to size and location, and are first-come, first-serve. To reserve your spot and choose your bed, first submit the form by clicking the button below. Next, keep an eye on your email for information on the layouts of the rooms, the remaining bed selection and pricing. Your reservation is complete when a payment is made in full.
**Please note, there are no refunds. In the case of illness or an emergency, you are welcome to transfer or resell your spot.

Rise Retreats span well beyond just yoga.
Kat is not just a yoga teacher, but an event planner and community connector. During her 15 year career in the restaurant industry, she learned how to plan events that are beyond ordinary. Kat aims to create a space of deep self-care. A space where you feel held that meets all your needs.
The spaces and places… beautiful and peaceful.
The food… nourishing and organic with special dietary needs always accommodated.
The yoga… inclusive, with a variety of practices (from restorative- to vinyasa- to slow burn- to yoga nidra- to meditation) to fit all student’s needs. The student can take one class or all the classes. It’s completely up to them.
The experiences… are also included, like sound baths.
And the community… no one will ever attend a retreat without deeply connecting to the other participants. We will share meals together, hike together, sit around campfires, play games, share stories, laugh and cry together. Kat’s ability to create community runs deep.
It’s truly a retreat experience like no other.

THE MOHICANS RETREAT
It happened! November 26-28 2021 in the Mohicans. My first ever yoga retreat! 19 yogis joined me for a weekend off the grid! It was everything I dreamed of and more. An amazing weekend full of yoga, hiking, delicious food, meditation, rest and community!
